March - Christ is coming for His Bride

Posted by Ebenezer Congregational Church on April 18, 2012 at 10:40 AM

“When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O he hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” Matthew 16: 2-3

This has been the most unusual winter I can ever remember. After last winter we were bracing for the worst, only to experience, so far, the mildest weather the plains of Montana have ever experienced. Having said that, we are not through with the season yet. Anyone who has lived in this part of the word will tell you March can be the most volatile month of the year. The probability of a meteorologist pulling out his hair trying to predict, with any amount of certainty, the weather for the month of March is undoubtedly very high.

In order to understand the signs of the nearness of Christ’s second coming, the unveiling of the anti-Christ, and the end of the world, we look to the world news and see how it aligns with Scripture. The question for each of us remains; have you put your faith in Christ alone? In order to bring that question to the forefront of everyone’s mind, the Lord is allowing everything we thought we could trust in to be shaken. This shaking creates uncertainty. We can’t count on anything in this world to be there when we need it. You can’t depend on government, money, possessions, weather patterns or anything else that has shown historically to be trustworthy.

This is the unsettled world that will force people to decide, either I am going to believe Jesus and His truth claims or I am going to look for someone here to have all the answers, i.e., the anti-Christ and his lies. The truth is Jesus holds tomorrow and he holds those who trust in Him alone. As you see the world shaken in uncertainty, look up, Christ is coming for His Bride. This you can count on.

In anticipation of His coming,

/s/ Pastor David
